Beltane and bloody finger

I’m not having the best of days today. It’s May Day, the sun is shining (haven’t seen that for a while) and everything is going, well not wrong but not quite right either.

www.witchshop.co.ukMy sons are home from school today due to elections and they’ve done nothing but sqaubble. I’ve taken them swimming and I’m trying very hard not to utter those two words on the tip of every parent’s tongue “never again”. My daughter who turns 6 months next weeks has learnt to roll over which has turned her into a rage-aholic. So I have boys arguing and daughter screaming – not good for the Chi.

Clients are coming to me to sort out problems I thought were finished. Every project I begin seems to take at least 3 times as long as I had originally planned so I’m looking at working into the evening (again).

And to top it all I made lunch and sliced the top of my finger instead of the bread. Blood everywhere and I now have a middle finger all plastered up.

But on the good side Paul and I have finished rewriting Witch Shop to be our main site for spells. At the moment there are 69 spells to choose from but that’s only because there are another 12 or so I haven’t yet put up. If you want to take a peak please go to www.witchshop.co.uk You can get a FREE Spell so it’s worth spending a couple of minutes taking a look. Also, if you want to have a look at the spells we offer but don’t want to be online you can download our spell-menu (pdf).

Enjoy your May Day 🙂

The Universe delivered!!!

The weekend after we lost our dog Paul and I played the Sims2 Pets game and spent a few moments creating a strange little dog on the PS2.  It was a sweet little thing, black and white with curly fur.  A mutt if you ever saw one!  We didn’t bother saving the game and just quit it.  But we both commented on the dog we’d created and how we would like a similar pet in real life.

One week later we went shopping for school shoes for our son and walked past the pet shop.  We looked at each other then stepped inside.  Paul and I looked at the puppies and a couple of Spaniels looked adorable to us.  We enquired but both dogs had a deposit on them.

We took one last look at the puppies and all of a sudden this curly bundle of black and white fur bounced into view.  We hadn’t seen her before and it was as if she just appeared out of nowhere.

We asked about her – she was an older pup, a mixed breed, with all her jabs.

Needless to say she is now called Aine and is at home with us.

She is exactly how we created a dog on the Sims game with the only exception that she is mainly white with black patches and the virtual dog was  mainly black with white patches.

So was this manifesting via Playstation?   I believe so 🙂

Sad news

We lost our little Yorkshire Terrier, Duffy, on Tuesday.  He came to us from a Chinese restaurant (of all places!!) who didn’t want him anymore.  That was 2 years ago and although we didn’t have him for a long time he’s left an empty space in our home.

I lost my yellow labrador the year before.   It feels strange to be without a dog.  So I’m waiting to see what the Universe will bring me next.

To blog or not to blog?

It has taken some time for me to answer that question!  Do I record my thoughts and ideas and share with the world on the www or do I keep them to myself?  Obviously by the fact that I’m typing away on our All About Tarot blog I decided it was time to share!!

I have a million and one thoughts on the Tarot (plus other oracles and divination systems) so it shouldn’t be hard to fill my blog.
